The Rail Business Awards recognise and reward excellence in every aspect of the industry, from daily operations, safety and customer service to technical innovation and major projects across the UK. The awards are designed to celebrate the many individuals and companies whose vision, innovation and commitment help to shape this industry. 

In 2024, the Awards moved to Manchester having been hosted for the previous 25 years in London. Following a sold-out evening and a record attendance, the event will return to the Hilton Manchester Deansgate on February 20 2025. With a fresh ministerial team now overseeing Britain’s rail sector, devolution of transport policy to cities and regions is high on the agenda, further underlining the case for hosting the Rail Business Awards in Manchester. The event will act as a catalyst for a year of rail-focused celebrations, with the 200th anniversary of the opening of the Stockton & Darlington Railway to come later in the calendar.

In such a pivotal year, we look forward to welcoming the rail industry’s trendsetters, innovators, leaders and role-models to Manchester next February.
